New Index Pools

May 15, 2019

On Monday we launched four new index pools: Health Care, Consumer Products, Finance and Telecommunications Indexes. These new contests are the latest in our list of index pools, providing more variety in the sectors you can learn about.

Health Care Index :

The index is divided into three categories:

  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Biotechnology
  • Medical/Dental Instruments

The health care sector consists of companies who are involved in the medical space in various different ways. There are those who build the equipment you find in hospitals and clinics, to those who develop and synthesize medicines and drugs.

The Consumer Products Index - Sponsored by Visual Capitalist:

The index is divided into three categories:

  • Apparel
  • Sports and Hobbies
  • Food and Beverage.

The consumer product sector is tailored to products bought by individuals rather than those bought by manufacturers or industries. These products can be anything from clothing to sports equipment. Finance Index:

The index is divided into two categories:

  • Banks
  • Finance

The finance sector is arguably the most important sector of the stock market. The general health of the economy depends greatly on the strength of the financial sector. Much of this industry generates revenue from mortgages and loans.

Telecommunications Index - Sponsored by Siyata Mobile Inc.:

This index is divided into three categories:

  • Hardware
  • Software
  • Operators

The Telecommunications sector plays a crucial role in the way businesses and consumers communicate. Since establishing itself as an industry, telecom has expanded into text-based messaging and video streaming.

We hope that you enjoy these new Indexes, and we look forward to continually providing new and diverse ways to play and learn the stock market.
